American Paul and Sandy’s Real Barbecue

I just had pulled-pork for the first time today and boy, have I been missing out. I was just wandering around the city and ended up going to American
Paul and Sandy’s Real Barbecue with my friend. The pulled pork is chewy, tender, smokey and awesome all around. My friend had a chicken sandwich which was a little dry. The price is very good, around $5 for most of the sandwiches. With a side and a drink, you can easily fill yourself up for $10-15. Out of all the sandwiches I have around Toronto, the pulled pork is on the top of my list. Service was friendly and fast.

I didn't bring my camera but here is an image I found online

For the quality and price, easily 10/10. Will come here for sure next time I am in that area.

Big Slice

Big Slice is a pizza restaurant near my school and is a favorite among the students.

The thing about this restaurant that attracts attention is the size of their pizza (hence the name "Big Slice"). Price is not bad either, around $5 for slice+pop+sauce if you are a student.
The pizza is decent but nothing really special but. One drawback is that all the slices are thin crust, which I enjoy but some of my friends complain about. There is one time when the bottom of the pizza was burnt but they took it back and gave me an extra pop. Overall, all the employees are friendly and a general positive atmosphere in the place.

Definitely a place to check out if you are in the area. Solid 8/10.

Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations

This is probably my favorite food related show. Host is a real down to earth type of guy. Every episode he visits a different country and try out the local foods. One of the best things about this show is that he tries mostly street food and local restaurants and stays away from hotels and tourist areas. This is one of my favorite episodes:

Turkey looks like a chill place and hopefully I can travel their one day.

Check out the show if you haven't seen it before.

Shawarmas

Shawarma is one of my most favorite foods. The combination of savory meat and pickled vegetables is just simply amazing.

Here is one of my favorite chain:

They have daily deals that are pretty decent. Check it out if you see one.
